Privacy Policy
In short: your photos never leave your computer. The app sends nothing unless you turn on anonymous crash and usage reports. Paddle handles your payment details. We never see your card.
1. Who is responsible
Thomas Kuipers Photography (KvK 73893609), Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is responsible for the processing of personal data described here. Questions or requests: hello@lumafold.app.
2. The app
- Your photos are processed only on your computer. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else.
- Crash and usage reports are off until you say yes. You can change this any time in Preferences. If you turn them on, the app sends anonymous error reports and counts of actions (for example "analysis finished") to PostHog, hosted in the EU. These reports use a random installation ID and contain no photos, file names, folder paths, user names or location.
3. Buying LumaFold
Paddle.com is our Merchant of Record. When you buy, Paddle collects your name, email address, country and payment details to process the order, VAT and invoicing. We receive your name, email address, country and order details so we can deliver your licence and help you. We never receive your card details. See Paddle's privacy policy.
4. This website
This website uses no tracking cookies and no advertising. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
5. Email
If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply. We don't send newsletters unless you sign up for them.
6. Legal basis and retention
We process order data to perform our contract with you and to meet legal obligations (Dutch tax law requires us to keep records for 7 years). Crash and usage reports are based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. They are kept for at most 12 months.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to its use. Email hello@lumafold.app. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
